MOSCOW, March 20. /TASS/. Rosneft produced 255.9 mln tons of oil equivalent or 5.2% less in annual terms, the Russian oil major said in its 2024 report under the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
Liquid hydrocarbons production dropped by 5% year on year to 184 mln metric tons in 2024. "The pace of the indicator is primarily driven by oil production constraints in accordance with decisions of the Russian government," the company said.
The number of license areas within the Vostok Oil flagship project of the company increased from 52 to 60 in 2024. The resource base of the project grew to seven billion metric tons of oil, Rosneft said.
