RTS Index up over 2% as Central Bank publishes official exchange rates

By 6:07 p.m. Moscow time (3:07 p.m. GMT), the RTS had extended gains to 2.06% as it traded at 1,164.29 points, while the MOEX was down by 0.09% at 3,197.89 points

MOSCOW, March 11. /TASS/. The RTS Index has added more than 2% following the publication of official exchange rates by the Bank of Russia, according to trading data. The regulator lowered its official exchange rates for March 12 of the dollar to 86.57 rubles, of the euro to 93.66 rubles, of the yuan to 11.85 rubles.

As of 5:48 p.m. Moscow time (2:48 p.m. GMT), the RTS was up by 0.02% at 1,140.98 points, while the MOEX Index traded at 3,200.9 points (+0.02%), which is almost at the level of previous closing.
