Russia may scale up oil refining this year — Novak

Russia refined 266.5 mln tons of oil in 2024 and produced 41.1 mln metric tons of gasoline and 81.6 mln metric tons of diesel fuel, Alexander Novak said

MOSCOW, February 12. /TASS/. Russia kept oil refining volumes and is going to increase them by the end of this year, Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak told reporters.

"We have the stable situation; [refining] did not decline," Novak said.

"We have no grounds for changes in any [refining] figures. Refining may also be even higher," the official added.

Russia refined 266.5 mln tons of oil in 2024 and produced 41.1 mln metric tons of gasoline and 81.6 mln metric tons of diesel fuel, Novak said earlier.
