Expert projects growth of Russian pork exports to China up to 70,000 tons in 2025

The expansion of the list of suppliers for export of Russian pork to China is the key target now, Yury Kovalyov noted, adding that "a number of producers are readying for accreditation to the Chinese market"

MOSCOW, February 7. /TASS/. Russia’s pork exports to China may rise to 60,000-70,000 tons in 2025, the head of the National Union of Pig Breeders Yury Kovalyov said.

"Last year (pork was - TASS) only supplied for almost half a year, nonetheless, supplies to China reached 40,000 tons. I think that if <…> deliveries equal around 60,000-70,000 tons [in 2025] it will be a success," he told reporters.
