Ukrainian government bans gas, gold and salt export for one year

Quotas are set in the volume of 1.3 mln metric tons for coking coal and 400,000 metric tons for liquid fuel

MOSCOW, December 25. /TASS/. The Ukrainian Cabinet approved the list of goods to be licensed and having export and import quotas for 2025, with the relevant decree posted on the official web portal.

According to the document "zero quotas for export of salt, steam coal, natural gas, energy wood, silver, gold and precious metals waste or scrap" are set for the next year.

Quotas are set in the volume of 1.3 mln metric tons for coking coal and 400,000 metric tons for liquid fuel (fuel oil). The Ukrainian government also introduced licensing for wheat, corn, sunflower seeds, sugar, poultry and certain other agricultural products.
