BANGKOK, November 25. /TASS/. Thailand is one of the key points in Asia for Russian business interested in supplies of products of the agro-industrial complex and heavy industry, Chairman of the Russian-Thai Business Council and Chairman of the Board of Novostal-M holding Ivan Demchenko told TASS.

"We consider Thailand to be one of the most important support points in Asia for Russian business, so we brought here more than 50 representatives of Russian companies. They are interested in supplying Russian products of both the agro-industrial complex and heavy industry. The Thai side is particularly interested in supplying Russia with petrochemical and food products, which we simply cannot have due to climatic conditions. We also see that Thailand is an attraction for our people, as almost 2 mln of our fellow citizens visit this country every year," he said.

Demchenko noted that the Russian delegation intends to discuss infrastructure projects with the Thai side. "We are ready to offer very interesting solutions for the construction of ports. Russia should move towards exporting entire projects, as our companies such as Rosatom are doing. I believe that many Russian companies can move in this direction," he said.
