Russia hopes G20 Summit in India to neutralize risks to economic stability — Lavrov

As the top diplomat stressed, Russia is diversifying its economic ties

NEW DELHI, March 2. /TASS/. Russia hopes that the summit of the Group of Twenty (G20) in India in September will make it possible to neutralize risks to economic stability, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said on Thursday at the G20 Foreign Ministers Meeting.

"We expect that the summit in New Delhi in September will make it possible to at least partly neutralize risks created by the egoistic policy of the West," the Minister said.

Russia is diversifying its economic ties, Lavrov noted. "We are participating in creation of a gas hub in Turkey. We will hold the next Russia-Africa summit in July," he added.
