BISHKEK, January 17. /TASS/. Trade turnover between Kyrgyzstan and Russia in 2022 may hit record levels, surpassing $3 bln, the National Statistical Committee of the Kyrgyz Republic reported on Tuesday.
In the first 11 months of last year trade turnover between the two countries amounted to $2.98 bln.
Meanwhile, imports from Russia (worth $2.07 bln) increased by 23.6% year-on-year, while exports from the republic to Russia (worth almost $0.92 bln) surged 2.5-fold.
According to official figures, trade turnover between Russia and Kyrgyzstan totaled $2.49 bln in 2021, hitting a fresh all-time high as well, soaring by 47% compared with 2020.
