Russian PM urges EAEU to focus on creation of integrated information system

Mikhail Mishustin noted a targeted five-year program for the development of an integrated information system of the EAEU planned to be approved at the meeting

YEREVAN, October 21. /TASS/. Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin has urged his Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) colleagues to seriously focus on the creation of an integrated information system.

"We are preparing for the full-fledged launch of an integrated information system of the Union. It is aimed at ensuring government-to-government cooperation in digital form <…>, providing information resources common for members of the group of five," he said.

Mishustin noted a targeted five-year program for the development of an integrated information system of the EAEU planned to be approved at the meeting. "It fixes the guidelines for modernization of the legal base for the creation of our common digital platform, which is expected to become an efficient and up-to-date instrument for expanding business and trade-economic partnership," he said. "I urge to give the most serious attention to the matter," PM added.
