VTB withdraws from shareholders of Qatari CQUR Bank

The Russian bank owned 19% of the shares

MOSCOW, May 16. /TASS/. VTB withdrew from the shareholders of Qatari CQUR Bank, the bank’s press service told TASS.

"VTB withdrew from the shareholders of CQUR Bank," the bank said. VTB Group owned 19% of the shares of the Qatari bank.

VTB purchased a stake in Qatari CQUR Bank in 2019, investments in the project amounted to $5 mln. The bank was registered in January 2022. According to the Qatar Financial Center, the authorized capital of the bank reaches $100 mln.
