Russia fulfils obligations to supply oil, gas to EU and other parts of the world — Putin

The President drew attention to the fact that the gas transportation system of Ukraine is fully loaded under Russian contracts for gas supplies to Europe

MOSCOW, March 10. /TASS/. Russia is fulfilling all its obligations to supply energy resources to Europe and other regions of the world, President Vladimir Putin said at a meeting with government members on Thursday.

"As for those countries that are taking unfriendly steps towards our country and economy, we are well aware [that] they are calling on their citizens to tighten their belts, dress warmer and, in general, point to the sanctions that they impose against us as the reason for the deterioration of their situation," the Russian leader said.

"It all looks very strange, especially since we are fulfilling all our energy supply obligations," Putin stressed.

The President drew attention to the fact that the gas transportation system (GTS) of Ukraine is fully loaded under Russian contracts for gas supplies to Europe.

"The gas transportation system of Ukraine is by hundred percent loaded under our contracts. It's surprising, but that’s a fact - we are doing all this," he said.
