MOSCOW, March 1. /TASS/. The most likely outcome of the OPEC+ ministerial meeting on March 2 remains the decision to continue increasing oil production by 400,000 bpd in April, a source in one of the delegations told TASS on Tuesday.
"Yes, most likely we will maintain it," the source said.
OPEC+ countries are gradually restoring oil production after an unprecedented production cut in 2020. Thus, since August 2021, they have been adhering to the same pace, adding 400,000 bpd per month. It is expected that the rate will be maintained until September.
According to the schedule, the ministerial monitoring committee is scheduled for 15:00 on March 2, and an hour later, at 16:00 Moscow time, a meeting of the OPEC+ ministerial conference is expected to begin. According to a TASS source, a traditional press conference following the meeting is not expected this time.
