Over 10,000 pieces of weapons, equipment delivered to Russian troops in Sept — top brass

MOSCOW, October 6. /TASS/. More than 10,000 pieces of weapons and military equipment, including Su-57 fighter jets, T-90M tanks, and air defense systems, were delivered to the Russian Armed Forces in September, the Defense Ministry reported.

"In September, more than 10,000 units of weapons, military, and special equipment were delivered to the Russian Armed Forces from military-industrial enterprises and the 'civilian defense-industrial complex,' " the ministry said in a statement.

Russian Deputy Defense Minister General Alexander Sanchik said that the September deliveries included Su-57 and Su-35S aircraft, T-90M tanks, T-80BVM, and T-72B3M tanks, air defense systems, armored vehicles, reconnaissance and strike unmanned aerial vehicles, hexacopters, and ground robotic systems for various purposes. "As part of efforts to equip the Navy, the Project 12700 minesweeper Semyon Agafonov, which is being built for the Northern Fleet, was launched in September," he added.

The Defense Ministry noted that, in particular, unmanned systems units received Supercam, Skat, Orlan, and Molniya reconnaissance unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) in various configurations, as well as fixed-wing UAVs and strike FPV copter drones, including those controlled via radio and fiber-optic links. In addition, batches of hexacopters designed to strike enemy shelters and personnel, as well as to transport supplies to the line of engagement, were supplied to the troops.
