Ukraine redeploys Aidar militants to border with Dnepropetrovsk Region

DONETSK, May 17. /TASS/. Ukrainian forces have redeployed militants from the Aidar nationalist battalion (outlawed as a terrorist group in Russia) north of the village of Bogatyr in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), a source in Russian security structures told TASS.

"The enemy has stationed militants from the 24th separate assault battalion Aidar in the village of Novoukrainka north of Bogatyr," the source said.

Earlier, deputy commander of Russia’s Battlegroup East’s assault company of the 57th separate guards motorized rifle brigade with the call sign Karachay told TASS that the Ukrainian army had redeployed parts of the group that had been pulled out from Russia’s Kursk Region and mostly wiped out near Volnoye Pole in the DPR, to the DPR’s border with the Dnepropetrovsk Region.
