MOSCOW, March 30. /TASS/. Russia’s Defense Ministry and other agencies have evacuated more than 670 residents of the liberated settlement of Sudzha in the Kursk Region to safe places since March 12, the Emergencies Ministry reported on Sunday.

Rescuers escort local residents to temporary shelters, help with their accommodation, the formalization of documents and the search for their relatives, it said.

"The searches for relatives begin promptly already at gathering places - Russian Emergencies Ministry personnel and volunteers offer a possibility to get in touch with relatives by mobile phone, find them in social networks and through their groups where people file requests for the search for relatives. Thus, communication with over 1,700 citizens has been restored since August," it said.

At temporary accommodation centers, psychologists render all necessary psychological assistance and support to evacuated civilians. Currently, over 20 specialists, including the Emergencies Ministry staff are involved in this effort. All these measures are being carried out under the existing regime of the counter-terror operation, it said.
