LUGANSK, March 29. /TASS/. Russian servicemen are advancing cautiously and systematically in Chasovy Yar in the Donetsk People's Republic, thus preserving the lives of servicemen, military expert Andrey Marochko told TASS.
"Regarding Chasov Yar: there is a planned liberation of this settlement. First of all, our servicemen are advancing very cautiously. Thanks to such decisions of the command, we are preserving the lives of our troops. <...> We have successes in mopping up the areas that we have liberated, and at the moment these processes continue," he said.
Marochko noted that due to the ongoing active fighting in Chasovy Yar, it is currently difficult to count the area liberated and mopped up of Ukrainian troops. On March 8, he told TASS that no more than 15% of the town was under Ukrainian control.
