KURSK, March 9. /TASS/. A group of Ukrainian troops has surrendered near Cherkasskoye Porechnoye in the Kursk Region, a source in security agencies told TASS.

"A group of Ukrainian soldiers has surrendered," the source said, adding that Ukraine’s barrier squads are trying to complicate yielding of mobilized Ukrainian troops prisoners.

The Russian troops are in fierce action in several directions in the border area of the Kursk Region, the source noted.
