MOSCOW, March 31. /TASS/. The Russian National Guard’s commandos eliminated a Ukrainian armed group and an artillery system in the Zaporozhye Region in the special military operation in Ukraine, the Guard’s press office told TASS on Friday.
"The team of a strike drone from one of the Russian Guard’s special operations units eliminated an enemy group and an artillery gun in the Zaporozhye Region," the press office said in a statement.
During their optoelectronic terrain reconnaissance along the engagement line, the Russian Guardsmen detected a camouflaged fortified artillery position and Ukrainian personnel movements, the press office specified.
"The commandos air-dropped several munitions from an altitude of 900 meters in an accurate strike, wiping out enemy manpower and an artillery gun. The Russian Guardsmen managed to keep their UAV invisible, skillfully accomplishing their objective and inflicting considerably damage on the enemy under intense adversary jamming," the press office said.
