Russia is working on new contracts for small arms supplies on Middle East — official

Currently, previously signed contracts are being implemented, and new requests from customers are being processed, the representative of the Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation said

ABU DHABI, February 20. /TASS/. The Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation is working on new contracts with foreign customers from the Middle East for the supply of Russian small arms, a representative of the Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation at the IDEX-2023 international defense exhibition in Abu Dhabi told TASS.

When asked if the special military operation has led to an increase in interest in Russian small arms on the Middle East and if some contracts have been signed, the representative said:

"There has always been strong interest in Russian small arms from foreign customers (in the Middle East - TASS). Currently, previously signed contracts are being implemented, and new requests from customers are being processed."

IDEX-2023, an international exhibition of military equipment and weapons, is being held in Abu Dhabi (UAE) from February 20-24. The leading enterprises of the Russian military-industrial complex are showcasing more than 200 full-scale samples of weapons and military equipment, ammunition and equipment at the event.
