Rostec to show Tornado-S MLRS at IDEX — company

Anti-drone weapons will be presented to foreign customers, including the Pischal-PRO system

MOSCOW, February 16. /TASS/. Rostec will show the Tornado-S multiple launch rocket system (MLRS) for the first time in the Middle East along with a number of Russia helicopters at the IDEX 2023 international arms exhibition in the UAE, the corporation’s press service said.

"The Verba MANPADS will be demonstrated to the potential customers in the air defense segment. Rocket and artillery weapons will be represented by the Iskander-E ballistic missile system, the 9K515 (Tornado-S) MLRS, and by Khrizantema-S and Kornet-EM antitank missile systems. High attention is also expected as regards the aviation part of the display, which will comprise models of the Checkmate light tactical aircraft and the Il-76MD-90A (E) military transport aircraft, Ka-52E and Mi-28NE combat helicopters, and the Mi-171Sh military transport helicopter," Rostec said.

The T-90MS tank, the BT-3F armored personnel carrier, the BMP-3M mechanized infantry combat vehicle, the TOS-1A heavy flamethrower system and the Terminator tank support combat vehicle will also be displayed at the exhibition. Anti-drone weapons will be presented to foreign customers, including the Pischal-PRO system.
