MOSCOW, January 30. /TASS/. The information made public by Russia has forced a number of states to weigh the possible consequences of their interaction with the US on the track of biosecurity, Chief of Russia’s Radiation, Chemical and Biological Protection Force Igor Kirillov said on Monday.

He noted that the issues raised by Russia at the Ninth Review Conference of the Biological Weapons Convention and at the UN Security Council demonstrated the unwillingness of the US to maintain a meaningful dialogue. "Concerns of the world community related to the activities of Pentagon-funded biolabs keep growing. <...> We consider it fundamentally important that the disclosure of facts of illegal military-biological activities has forced a number of states to weigh the possible consequences of their interaction with the US in the sphere of biosecurity, to take a new look at the necessity and expediency of such cooperation," Kirillov said at a briefing analyzing documents concerning the US military-biological activities.
