DOHA, November 8. /TASS/. Forces of the Saudi-led coalition have hit ballistic missile launchers in the Yemeni Saada governorate that were used to shell Riyadh, the coalition’s spokesman Turki al-Maliki said.
"Two ballistic missile launchers were eliminated in Saada (a governorate in northern Yemen - TASS)," he wrote on X. According to al-Maliki, the Houthis from the Yemeni rebel movement Ansar Allah used these launchers "to try to attack Riyadh on Sunday."
The Saudi Arabian Ministry of Energy said earlier that an administrative building belonging to the Saudi national oil company, Saudi Aramco, in Riyadh has sustained minor damage in an attack, with no casualties reported. Later, Houthi spokesman Yahya Saria said that the Houthis has attacked Saudi Aramco’s facilities in Abqaiq in the east of Saudi Arabia, as well as the Saudi capital’s financial center, and the positions of the Saudi-led coalition in the Yemeni al-Jawf, Marib, and Lahij governorates.
