TBILISI, February 8. /TASS/. Integration into NATO is not currently on the agenda for Tbilisi, Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze said.
"We have quite clear foreign policy goals. In terms of NATO integration, it’s not on the agenda at the moment because of Western countries’ decisions and approaches, and the overall context around us," he told Euronews.
However, Kobakhidze pointed out that Georgia remained committed to European integration. "We are still very optimistic that Georgia’s EU membership by 2030 is achievable," he stressed. "Of course, while taking any steps, we have to take into consideration all the side effects of it," he added. According to the premier, Georgia decided not to impose sanctions on Russia despite demands from Western politicians.
