Syrian defense ministry refutes claims about militants infiltrating two Hama neighborhoods

"Our armed forces are present on the city’s outskirts," the ministry added

RABAT, December 4. /TASS/. Syria’s defense ministry has refuted reports disseminated by media outlets affiliated with terrorist organizations alleging that militants infiltrated two neighborhoods in the city of Hama.

"Such reports are being disseminated as part of military propaganda," it said in a statement posted on its Facebook page (Facebook is banned in Russia due to its ownership by Meta, which has been designated as extremist).

"Our armed forces are present on the city’s outskirts. They are also deployed in fortifications along the frontline," the ministry added.

Earlier, Syria’s SANA news agency informed that the Syrian government had deployed a major military force in the city to prevent it from falling into the hands of terrorists.
