Donald Trump noted that Republican Senate candidates had won in Wisconsin, Michigan, Montana, Nevada, Texas, Texas, Ohio and Pennsylvania, among other states

NEW YORK, November 6. /TASS/. US presidential candidate from the Republican Party, Donald Trump, is confident that the Republicans have taken back control over both houses of the US Congress as a result of the elections.

"America has given us a powerful and unprecedented mandate We have taken back control of the Senate. Wow, that's good," he said, speaking at his Mar-a-Lago (Florida) estate.

Trump noted that Republican Senate candidates had won in Wisconsin, Michigan, Montana, Nevada, Texas, Texas, Ohio and Pennsylvania, among other states. In all of those cases interaction with the senators was maintained; these were hard races, Trump stated.

"You have some great senators and great new senators and it also looks like we'll be keeping control of the House of Representatives," he emphasized.

According to the The Hill newspaper and Fox News TV channel, Trump will win the US presidential election.

According to estimates by the leading media, the Republicans will get at least 51 seats in the Senate of the US Congress at the end of the election, which will give them control over the upper house. In the House of Representatives, the Republicans now have a majority.
