Hamas military wing claims to have shelled Israeli city of Be'er Sheva

The radicals also said they had shelled "enemy troops east of the occupied city of Majin"

CAIRO, December 6. /TASS/. The Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades - the military wing of Hamas - has said it fired rockets at the Israeli city of Be'er Sheva.

"The Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigade carried out a rocket strike on Be'er Sheva in response to mass civilian killings," the group said on Telegram.

The radicals also said they had shelled "enemy troops east of the occupied city of Majin."

Earlier, the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades fired rockets towards Israel’s Re'im military base located near the Gaza Strip.

On December 1, the Israeli army accused Hamas of violating a ceasefire and announced the resumption of military operations in Gaza. The Palestinian authorities put the blame on the US.
