US military base in Iraq's Al Anbar Governorate comes under missile attack

The Iraqi Islamic Resistance group noted that all enemy targets had been hit directly

BEIRUT, November 15. /TASS/. Shiite militias belonging to the Iraqi Islamic Resistance group have launched several missiles strikes on the Ayn al-Asad US military base in Iraq's Al Anbar Governorate, the movement said in a statement broadcast by the Al Mayadeen TV channel.

It notes that all enemy targets were hit directly. The Mujahideen missile attack was launched in response to the crimes committed by the Zionist enemy in the Gaza Strip, the text emphasized.

The Ayn al-Asad base was attacked by Shiite militants on November 6, 9, and 11. They used UAVs in their attacks.

According to the Pentagon, US troops in Syria and Iraq have been attacked about 50 times since October 17. There are 900 US service members stationed in Syria and 2,500 in Iraq. On November 9, a top member from the Iraqi Islamic Resistance told Al Mayadeen TV that its fighters "will not stop operations against US military bases until Israel halts its aggression against the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip.".
