Sanctions can lead to constraints in energy supplies — Saudi Minister

The embargo and the price ceiling on Russian petroleum products came into force on February 5

CAIRO, February 5. /TASS/. The sanctions policy covering the global energy market may lead to constraints of energy supplies, Saudi Arabia’s Energy Minister Abdulaziz bin Salman Al Saud said, cited by the Asharq News TV Channel.

"Sanctions, embargo and lack of investments will turn into a deficit in supplies of all kinds of energy resources," the Minister said at the 44th International Conference on Energy Economics in Riyadh. "We should stop hypocrisy and comprehend that hundreds of millions of people suffer from the shortage of energy resources," he noted.
