Russian Defense Ministry says LPR troops breached Ukraine’s defenses toward Severodonetsk

Up to 50 personnel and nine armored vehicles have been destroyed, and fighting is continuing on the northern outskirts of the Zamulovka settlement

MOSCOW, April 5. /TASS/. Russian Defense Ministry Spokesman Igor Konashenkov on Tuesday said LPR troops breached the defenses of Ukraine’s 57th motorized infantry brigade toward Severodonetsk.

"Units of the Lugansk People’s Republic breached the defenses of of Ukraine’s 57th motorized infantry brigade toward Severodonetsk," he said.

Up to 50 personnel and nine armored vehicles have been destroyed, and fighting is continuing on the northern outskirts of the Zamulovka settlement, according to the spokesman. LPR troops continue an offensive on the positions held by Ukraine’s 24th separate mechanized brigade and are engaged in combat on the eastern outskirts of the Novotoshkovskoye settlement about 50 kilometers from Lugansk.
