LONDON, November 13. /TASS/. Members of the UK government will convene on Wednesday, November 14, to discuss the draft deal on Brexit, the country’s withdrawal from the European Union, a UK government spokesperson told TASS on Tuesday.
Wednesday’s meeting will determine the format of the UK withdrawal.
"Cabinet will meet at 2pm tomorrow [17:00 Moscow time] to consider the draft agreement the negotiating teams have reached in Brussels, and to decide on next steps. Cabinet Ministers have been invited to read documentation ahead of that meeting," the source said.
Official talks between London and Brussels on conditions for the UK to leave the EU began on June 19, 2017 in Brussels. A year earlier, 51.9% of the UK citizens voted in favor of Brexit at a referendum.
The talks on Brexit should last until this November and then the European Parliament and Westminster should approve the deal. Brexit will take place on March 29, 2019 and then a transition period should begin and last until December 31, 2020.
