Investigative Committee records new facts of Ukraine army’s targeted attacks on civilians

The committee established that on March 24, Ukrainian fighters dropped an explosive device from an unmanned aerial vehicle onto the territory of an apartment building in the village of Korenevo, Kursk Region, where civilians were staying

MOSCOW, March 27. /TASS/. The Investigative Committee has recorded new instances of attacks by the Ukrainian army on civilians in the Kursk Region, committee’s Spokeswoman Svetlana Petrenko told TASS.

"As part of the investigation of the criminal case of a terrorist act, the investigators of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation have recorded additional facts of targeted attacks on civilian infrastructure by the armed forces of Ukraine," she said.

The committee established that on March 24, Ukrainian fighters dropped an explosive device from an unmanned aerial vehicle onto the territory of an apartment building in the village of Korenevo, Kursk Region, where civilians were staying. As a result, two people were injured by shrapnel, one of them a 12-year-old child. Also, detonation of an explosive device deliberately dropped by the Ukrainian military from a UAV at a grocery store injured a civilian in the Khomutovsky district of the region.

"During the preliminary investigation, representatives of the armed units of Ukraine involved in these crimes will be identified and brought to justice," Petrenko said.
