MOSCOW, March 13. /TASS/. Russia's Interior Ministry has prepared documents to remove 154 individuals from the list of those missing in the Sudzha district of the Kursk Region, as they have been found alive.
"My colleagues are providing comprehensive assistance to residents of the Sudzha district in the Kursk Region who have arrived from villages liberated by the Russian army. Many of them were previously listed as missing after losing contact with their relatives. Currently, documents have been prepared to remove the names of 154 individuals from the missing persons list. These individuals are alive, and police officers are assisting them in reconnecting with their relatives," Irina Volk, the Interior Ministry's Spokeswoman told TASS.
The staff at migration departments accept applications from individuals seeking to restore their Russian passports, which are issued within 24 hours without any duties or fees.
"To enhance convenience for citizens, police officers set up on-site desks at temporary accommodation centers. This initiative is a crucial aspect of police work, especially for those in distress. This operation runs around the clock in collaboration with other relevant agencies and authorities," Volk stated.
