Italian producer announces two collaborative projects with Russia

An attempt at cultural isolation of Russia has not borne fruit, Paolo Maria Spina said

MOSCOW, November 11. /TASS/. Producer Paolo Maria Spina told TASS that he is working on two Russian-Italian projects.

"There are two projects between Italy and Russia, for sure. I am the responsible person, so I know that," he said, speaking about cooperation with Russian counterparts in the film industry.

An attempt at cultural isolation of Russia has not borne fruit, the producer said. "The cancelation of Russian culture failed. We, Italians, are very happy about that," he added.

"The film I love most of all, one of my favorites in the entire history of the Russian film industry, is Andrey Rublev [by Andrey] Tarkovsky," Paolo Maria Spina added.
