Hundreds of people gather near New York court, where Trump is about to be indicted

A minor conflict occurred when Trump’s opponents unfolded a particularly large banner with accusations against him, but it was promptly resolved

NEW YORK, April 4. /TASS/. Several hundred people have gathered near the court building in Manhattan, where US ex-President Donald Trump will be indicted later on Tuesday, but the overall situation remains quiet, according to a TASS reporter at the scene.

The crowd is mostly comprised of Trump’s opponents, as indicated by their banners and conversations. The ex-President’s supporters are also present, as well as common New York residents desiring to witness a historic event, and reporters.

A minor conflict occurred when Trump’s opponents unfolded a particularly large banner with accusations against him, but it was promptly resolved.

Still, the police take increased security measures, but, as police representatives at the scene told TASS, there have been no known threats for public order so far.

Trump is expected to appear in court at 14:15 local time (21:15 Moscow time).
