Mass gatherings of citizens in some particular locations are unsafe, Transnistrian President Vadim Krasnoselsky noted

CHISINAU, April 26. /TASS/. The Security Council of the self-proclaimed Transnistrian Republic cancelled the May 9 military parade after a series of terrorist attacks, Transnistrian President Vadim Krasnoselsky said after the Council’s meeting on Tuesday.

"There will be no military parade in Transnistria on May 9. Mass gatherings of citizens organized in a centralized manner in some particular locations are unsafe," the local TSV television channel quoted him as saying.

On April 26, unidentified assailants blew up two antennae of the regional radio center in the community of Mayak of the Grigoriopol district in Transnistria. On Monday, the building of the Transnistrian State Security Ministry in Tiraspol was shelled from hand-held grenade launchers and a military unit in the village of Parkany was attacked.
