Putin attends plenary session of Gas Exporting Countries Forum summit

MOSCOW, October 27. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin is speaking at the plenary session of the eighth summit of the Gas Exporting Countries Forum (GECF).

The plenary session is chaired by the head of the Russian state. GECF Secretary General Philip Mshelbila and the heads of delegations of the participating states of the international organization are also scheduled to speak. Some representatives of the observer countries are also expected to speak: Azerbaijan, Angola, Iraq, Malaysia, Mozambique and Senegal.

The session will end with the adoption of the Moscow Declaration of the eighth Summit of Heads of State and Government of the GECF member countries.

Putin is also scheduled to have five bilateral meetings today on the sidelines of the summit - with Iran President Masoud Pezeshkian, Emir of Qatar Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, President of the Republic of Mozambique Daniel Chapo, leader of Equatorial Guinea Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo and Chairman of the Presidential Council of Libya Mohamed al-Menfi.
