MOSCOW, November 5. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin has endorsed the idea of designating 2026 as the Year of Unity for Russia's peoples.

One of the members of the Council for Interethnic Relations proposed this to the president.

"We will do so," the president responded, instructing Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova to prepare the drafts of the necessary resolutions.
