Moscow to respond in case West uses Russian frozen assets — diplomat

Any use of Russian assets for purposes not agreed with the Russian Federation is blatant robbery, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov stressed

MOSCOW, June 23. /TASS/. The use of Russian immobilized assets by the West will be outright plunder and Moscow will react, Deputy Foreign Minister Sergey Ryabkov told TASS on the sidelines of the Primakov Readings forum.

"Any use of Russian assets for purposes not agreed with the Russian Federation is blatant robbery," Ryabkov said.

"That is why it is categorically unacceptable, inadmissible, and we will react accordingly upon such encroachments," the deputy minister added.
