MELITOPOL, March 17. /TASS/. Russian troops have advanced near the village of Stepovoye in the Zaporozhye Region’s Stepnogorsk direction, securing eight square kilometers and taking control over the settlement’s eastern sector, Vladimir Rogov, chairman of a Russian Civic Chamber committee, told TASS.
"Near Stepovoye, Russian forces advanced toward the village and liberated approximately eight square kilometers. They entered the settlement from the east and have taken control of the eastern part of the village. Our guys are actively advancing toward the west in this settlement," he said.
On March 11, the politician told TASS that the Russian Armed Forces hoisted the Russian flag over the settlement of Pyatikhatki, which is located south of Stepovoye.
