The attack on the Caspian Pipeline Consortium will incite stably high prices on the global market, which is not in the consumers’ interest, the Russian President noted

ST. PETERSBURG, February 19. /TASS/. The US’ new administration is sending a signal that it is also interested in stable prices on the energy market, Russian President Vladimir Putin said.

"By the way, the present administration has also repeatedly announced that it seeks to stabilize or even lower energy prices," he said when answering media questions during a visit to an UAV production plant in St. Petersburg.

The attack on the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) will incite stably high prices on the global market, which is not in the consumers’ interest, Putin noted.
