Ukraine suffers major troop losses west of Krasnoarmeisk — Russian security official

According to the report, the Ukrainian army also was trying to hold a railway station in Udachnoye

DONETSK, February 6. /TASS/. The Ukrainian army has suffered major troop losses near the settlement of Udachnoye west of the city of Krasnoarmeisk (known as Pokrovsk in Ukraine), a Russian security official told TASS.

"The enemy deployed reserves to Udacnoye and the surrounding area, reinforcing its troops. A large group of the Ukrainian armed forces was stationed there but most of it has now been wiped out," he said.

The official added that the Ukrainian army was trying to hold a railway station in Udachnoye. However, the railway line leading to the station is largely controlled by Russian forces.
