West seeks to shift blame for its Ukrainian madness onto Ukrainians — Russian diplomat

"The West is gradually trying to prepare the ground to blame Ukraine, the Ukrainian people, and perhaps Vladimir Zelensky and some other political figures for their own recklessness, crimes, and crazy criminal philosophy of inflicting a strategic defeat on Russia, as they put it," Maria Zakharova said

MOSCOW, December 4. /TASS/. The West is preparing to shift responsibility for its chaos and crimes in Ukraine onto Vladimir Zelensky and the Ukrainian people themselves, Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova stated at a briefing.

"They [Western countries] are gradually laying the groundwork to blame Ukraine, the Ukrainian people, and perhaps Vladimir Zelensky and other political figures for their own reckless actions, crimes, and irrational strategy of inflicting a strategic defeat on Russia, as they claim. But I am absolutely certain they will hold Ukrainian citizens responsible for everything," she said, commenting on the possibility of Ukraine ceding part of its territory to Russia.

Earlier, Munich Security Conference Chairman Jens Stoltenberg admitted that Ukraine might have to make temporary territorial concessions to Russia in order to achieve peace. According to him, the ceasefire line should include the Russian regions of Donbass and Novorossiya, which Ukraine still considers its own, as it is unlikely for Kiev to regain them on the battlefield. At the same time, the former NATO chief pointed out that Kiev could become part of the alliance with its current territories, provided it permanently relinquishes the disputed regions.

Zakharova pointed out that Ukrainian-born Victoria Spartz, the US representative for Indiana's 5th congressional district, who moved to the United States as an adult, accused Ukrainian authorities of "not mobilizing elderly citizens and children." "There is no Hitler-Jugend officially on Ukrainian territory so far; they are only planning to lower the age for military service. This is the core of the problem from the Western perspective," the diplomat explained.

She also reminded that the Kiev regime has no intention of retrieving the 630 Ukrainian prisoners of war, a list of whom was published earlier by Russian human rights commissioner Tatyana Moskalkova, because those prisoners will begin telling the truth about Russia, Zelensky, and the Ukrainian armed forces.
