Russian forces mopping up Stariye Terny community in Donbass region, says official

Vladimir Rogov said earlier that the liberation of that settlement would deny the Ukrainian army the possibility to relocate units directly between Solntsevka in the north and Kurakhovo

MELITOPOL, December 4. /TASS/. Russian forces are mopping up the community of Stariye Terny on the western bank of the Kurakhovo reservoir in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), Chairman of the Civic Chamber Commission on Sovereignty, Patriotic Projects and Support of Veterans Vladimir Rogov told TASS on Wednesday.

"Our troops are mopping up the settlement of Stariye Terny, which has actually come under Russian control," he said.

Rogov told TASS earlier that the liberation of that settlement would deny the Ukrainian army the possibility to relocate units directly between Solntsevka in the north and Kurakhovo where Russian troops were already fighting in the city’s western portion, after liberating the larger part of that community.
