ASTANA, November 28. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin has invited the leaders of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) member states to Moscow to celebrate the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
Putin has extended an invitation to military units from these countries to participate in the parade on Red Square.
"It is very important that we remember the victory of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War, the 80th anniversary of this Victory," the Russian leader said during the CSTO summit.According to Vladimir Putin, the celebrations will be held "at the highest state level" in all the countries of the organization.
"I hope you find an opportunity to attend these festive events in Moscow, at the celebrations on May 9," Vladimir Putin addressed his colleagues. "Furthermore, we invite the military units of the CSTO member states to join Russian troops in the parade on Red Square," the Russian president said.
