Russian forces hit over 270 Ukrainian facilities near Kupyansk

According to the report, a D-20 howitzer, two US-made M777 and M198 artillery systems were destroyed in counterbattery fight

MOSCOW, March 4. /TASS/. Units of Russia’s Battlegroup West have struck over 270 facilities belonging to Ukraine’s armed forces near the Kupyansk sector of the line of engagement, Battlegroup Spokesman Ivan Bigma told TASS.

"Artillery units of the [Russian] battlegroup have hit more than 270 facilities, including temporary deployment positions, mobile strongholds, artillery positions, as well as concentrations of Ukrainian manpower and equipment," he specified.

Among other weapons, a D-20 howitzer, and two US-made M777 and M198 artillery systems were destroyed in counterbattery fight, Bigma said. "In the Kupyansk direction, the enemy lost roughly 35 troops and three pickup trucks," he added.
