MOSCOW, December 20. /TASS/. Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky sees the continuation of the Ukrainian conflict as his only chance to stay in power, Russian Foreign Ministry Spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said at a briefing.

"He (Zelensky - TASS) sees the continuation of the conflict with Russia as the last chance to stay in power," the diplomat pointed out.

At the same time, according to the spokeswoman, the interests and opportunities of EU member states, which are experiencing an economic crisis as a result of self-isolation from Russia, are increasingly diverging, including with regard to further sponsorship of "Zelensky's bankrupt government."
