MOSCOW, December 17. /TASS/. Leader of Russia’s ruling United Russia party Dmitry Medvedev has described the integration of Russia’s new regions as a task of paramount importance.
"Assistance to our new regions in the process of their integration, better say, re-integration into our country is a task of paramount importance," he said at the party’s congress.
According to Medvedev, the new regions are living through a reset of the entire system of state power under Russian laws.
He also noted that no other party is contributing that much to the victory in the special military operation. Thus, in his words, more than 80,000 tons of humanitarian assistance have been raised and delivered to the combat engagement line thanks to the party’s support. Apart from that, 40 humanitarian centers and 15 children’s centers have been opened in territories near the engagement line.
"Around 3,000 young activists are heling you people in the new regions," Medvedev added.
