BELGOROD, December 5. /TASS/. The Ukrainian armed forces fired 66 different munitions at Russia’s Belgorod Region over the past 24 hours, Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said on his Telegram channel.
"In the Belgorod Region, the village of Zhuravlevka came under artillery fire eight times. Two private houses were damaged. There were no casualties. Three artillery shells and three grenade shells were fired at the village of Shchetinovka. The enemy also dropped two explosive devices from a drone at the village. There were no casualties or damage," the governor wrote.
In the Borisovsky district, the Ukrainian forces fired six mortar shells and four grenade shells on the outskirts of the Lozovaya Rudka village. "As a result of the shelling, a power line collapsed. The emergency services will continue the restoration work as soon as the operational situation allows. An improvised explosive device was also dropped from a quadcopter on the outskirts of Lozovaya Rudka. There were no consequences," Gladkov said.
The Ukrainian military also fired 13 grenade shells at the Stariy village in the Volokonovsky district. A drone dropped a fragmentation munition near the village of Konovalovo.
In the Graivoronsky district, six mortar shells were fired at the outskirts of the village of Poroz, two mortar shells were fired at the outskirts of the village of Bezymeno, and two explosive devices were dropped from a drone on the outskirts of the village of Novostroyevka-Vtoraya. The outskirts of the village of Kozinka were also shelled six times. "As a result of shelling, an excavator was damaged," the governor said.
The Ukrainian military fired four mortar shells at the village of Novaya Tavolzhanka in the Shebekinsky district, six shells at the Shebekino automobile checkpoint, two at the village of Murom and three at the village of Mukhin.
