Kremlin reiterates its stance on troop mobilization in Russia

"We have repeatedly answered the question regarding the mobilization. We have no discussions on this issue at all," Dmitry Peskov said at a news briefing

MOSCOW, March 15. /TASS/. Kremlin’s stance regarding a possible new wave of nationwide military call-up remains unchanged as there are currently no discussions at all on this issue, Russian Presidential Spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Wednesday.

"We have repeatedly answered the question regarding the mobilization. We have no discussions on this issue at all," he said speaking at a news briefing.

On October 28, 2022, Russian Defense Minister Sergey Shoigu reported to President Vladimir Putin that the partial mobilization campaign, which had kicked off on September 21, 2022, was over. According to Shoigu, 300,000 people were called up and there were no plans for additional tasks in terms of the partial mobilization.

Late last year, the Russian president personally refuted rumors about a new wave of mobilization.
