MOSCOW, October 6. /TASS/. The Russia-Donbass allied forces are in full control of the area near the town of Kremennaya in the Lugansk People’s Republic (LPR), Head of the LPR mission in Moscow Rodion Miroshnik said on Thursday.
"The entire territory [the Kremennaya area] is controlled and defended by our forces," the envoy wrote on his Telegram channel.
The allied forces are actively constructing fortifications and creating a defense line in the town. Also, the allied forces’ artillery is hammering Ukrainian army amassments, he said.
The Ukrainian military has moved about 10,000 troops into the area of the town of Seversk and the village of Torskoye located near the LPR administrative border in the Kiev-controlled districts of the Donetsk People’s Republic, Miroshnik said.
"There are military equipment, units of mercenaries, artillery and MLRS [multiple launch rocket systems] present there. Adversary subversive and reconnaissance groups are actively moving in a forest belt area, with some of them with video cameras instead of arms. They are creating a massive flow of misinformation," the LPR envoy said.
Donetsk People’s Republic acting Head Denis Pushilin earlier said that the Russia-Donbass allied forces were building defenses near Kremennaya and involving additional resources. He said that Ukrainian subversive groups were trying to cut off the Kremennaya-Svatovo road but the allied forces were successfully fending off these attempts.
